TOUCH FOOTBALL REGULATIONS - SOUTHERN SATIS
Grades/Rosters
        
    1.  Grades played include Year 7/8 and Year 9/10.
 
Games/Matches
2. Touch Football will be played under the rules of Touch Football Australia unless otherwise stated.
3. All matches will be played at Wentworth park, Howrah.
4. Matches will commence at 4:15pm and 5:05pm and are to commence on time.
5. Match Format
        
          
              
        1. The match shall consist of a two (2) x 20 minute halves, with a 5 minute half time break.
        2.     
        3. There is no time off for injury during a match.
        4.     
        5. When time expires, play is to continue until the next Touch or Dead Ball and End of Play is signalled by the Referee.

Team composition/Interchange
6. A team consists of a maximum of 14 players, no more than six (6) are allowed on the field at any time
7. Players may interchange at any time, from the designated interchange area, and there is no limit to the number of interchanges.
 
Match officials
8. The administrative officer will work with Southern Touch to supply referees for all matches. In the event a referee cannot be supplied, it is the responsibility of the home team to supply referees.
9. Referees award tries and record the progressive score.
 
Uniform
10. Players must be correctly dressed in recognised School playing uniforms.
11. Jewellery, chain, ID band/bracelet or similar item that may prove dangerous must be removed before the start of play. Any items that cannot be removed must be taped to the satisfaction of the referee.
12. Nails must be short and smooth.
13. Safe footwear must be worn. Light leather or synthetic boots with soft moulded soles are permitted. Shoes with screw-in studs are not permitted.
 
Equipment
14. Each team is to provide a match ball.
 
General regulations
15. Matches must start on time whether all players are present or not. Teams must have a minimum of four (4) players for a match to commence.
 
Finals procedure
 
16. Where possible, umpires will be independent for all finals.
17. Qualifying players for finals
        To qualify to play in a final a player must have played at least half of the roster matches played by the team contesting the final.
18. Drawn Final
        
          
              
        1. If it is a draw at the end of the Final and time permits, Drop-Off procedure is used to determine a winner.

        3. If there is no time for Drop-Off, the premiership will be shared.
        4.   
          
Results
19. Results are to be sent to the SSATIS Admin Officer so results can be entered and uploaded to the website.
20. Point Score
 
Win = 5
Forfeit = 5pts and 3-0 score
Draw = 3
Loss = 1
Washout = 3
Forfeit against = 0 and 0-3 score
