Discussions and planning have been under way for the SATIS 2020 Athletics season.  Due to the current restrictions of COVID-19 it is not possible to hold the traditional style Athletics Carnivals this year.  As such the following arrangements have been planned.

SSATIS – a modified event will be held on Tuesday 8th September at the Domain Athletics Centre.  Most Southern Schools will compete in this event and details will be published as they come to hand.

NSATIS – for a number of reasons, the majority of Northern schools are unable to commit to an Athletics Carnival.  Hence there will not be a designated NSATIS event for 2020. 

SATIS – will not take place this year due to the logistics of COVID-19 restrictions and travel required across the state.

School staff are encouraging and promoting their Athletics students to participate in the Tasmanian All Schools event, hosted by Athletics Tasmania in October.  This event will include an open age group this year to specifically cater for SATIS senior students who wish to be involved in an Athletics competition.
