2016 SATIS Athletics

Strong winds and blustery conditions prevailed for the 2016 SATIS Athletics Carnival held at St Leonards Athletics Centre on Saturday 15th October. However, this did not impede the enthusiasm and dedication of athletes from all parts of the State. Several records were broken as listed below, with the other highlight being the altered timetable with relays being moved to the last events of the day. This created a positive vibe and conclusion to a long day of competition.

The support from volunteer officials outside the SATIS organisation was phenominal. Many thanks to all those from Athletics Tasmania, Northern Branch and North West Branch. This event would not have eventuated without your time, expertise and assistance,.
