After a number of records fell at the SSATIS and NSATIS Swimming carnivals, the SATIS carnival was looking to be a fast meet and it didn’t disappoint. 3 new relay records and 2 individual records were set throughout the day with the Boys Under 16 4x50m Freestyle Relay record being broken by both St Virgil’s College and St Patrick’s College, with St Virgil’s touching out St Patrick’s by .18 of a second.

St Patrick’s showed their depth with almost a clean sweep, travelling home with 8 out of 9 shields.

Boys Under 16 4x50m Freestyle Relay: 1:45.33 – St Virgil’s College (Samuel Askey-Doran, Maximillian Giuliani, Rufus Bresnehan, Joshua Wylie)

Boys Under 16 50m Freestyle: 25.13 – Maximillian Giuliani (St Virgil’s College)

Boys Under 16 100m Freestyle: 54.47 – Maximillian Giuliani (St Virgil’s College)
