NSATIS Swimming Carnival

The highlight of the 2020 NSATIS Swimming Carnival was participation.  With the introduction of 4 divisions in every 50 m freestyle event across all age groups every participant at the event was guaranteed at least two swims during the 4 hour carnival.  Results reflected a more even contest than previous years with pennants and shields shared across 3 schools.  Several records were broken during the day with Hugh Dolle from Launceston Church Grammar stealing the limelight breaking the U/16 50 m and 100 m freestyle events and also bringing home his relay team in fine form.

Swimming staff are now working hard to prepare their teams for the SATIS event to be held in Hobart on Thursday 26th March which will start at 10.30 a.m.  18 schools will compete in this event.
